This antique Thebes stool is in the style of Liberty & Co. It has four turned legs and each stretcher is connected to the seat by four decorative struts. It has lovely overall patina and wear. Liberty patented the design of the Thebes stool in 1884. 

FAIR CONDITION: The stool is sturdy and there is nothing loose but it does have condition issues to note. All 4 corners have wear to the edges and on one corner where the leg meets the seat a repair was made. There is glue residue at stretchers and struts. There is wear to the turned legs.
