Antique Pair of Black Thebes Liberty & Co Style Arts and Crafts Stools (no makers mark present)

This pair would look great next to your coffee table, flanking your fireplace or use underneath or beside of your console table.

CONDITION: They have been spray painted (not professionally) at some point so the paint is uneven in areas and not perfect. There is uneveness to the tops of the stools most likely due to layers of paint that could be sanded down by a professional to make for a smoother appearance (photos 6-9). At the bottom/inside of one leg there is a chip (photo 11) and that same leg has a crack in the wood where the leg and stretcher connect (photo 12). The stoolsl are stable, however, they could use some wood glue on 2 of the legs where the leg and stretcher connect. Bottoms are solid wood and tops are layered plywood. There is wear to one corner of the top of one of the stools where a layer of the plywood was chipped

DIMENSIONS: 15 5/8"wide x 15 5/8"deep x outer edge is the highest point of the stool and it measures 14 3/8"high (middle is 13.5"high)
