This is a nice little French style canapé that has a comfortable goose feather filled cushion. The wood is mahogany and the upholstery is the original red damask from Bailey & Griffin. This versatile piece could be used in your entry, bedroom, office or living room.

CIRCA: 1940s-50s

CONDITION: The settee is heavy and the frame is sturdy. The fabric is original and shows signs of sun fading and there is a stain on the center of the front of the seat back (I have not tried to clean). The wood is in really good condition. There are scratch marks on the inside of one of the front legs (see photos) that could be easily covered up with furniture marker or stain. Please see photos.
