This pair of wonderfully detailed hand-colored lithographs are from Thomas L. McKenney and James Halls's historically significant book "History of the Indian Tribes of North America." This pair of lithographs are from the Rice, Rutter & Co. edition between 1865-1870.
McKenney and Hall's Indian Tribes of North America stands as a record of the likenesses of many of the most prominent Indian leaders of the nineteenth century.
One print depicts FOKE-LUSTE-HAJO, A Seminole Chief and the other NE-O-MON-NI, An Ioway Chief
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with small brown spot at the top of the FOKE-LUSTE-HAJO lithograph as pictured. They come with vintage mats that show signs of age. **They are not framed.
