This framed, untitled etching of a tree was created by the well-listed Japanese artist Tanaka Ryohei (B. 1933) who is known for his attention to detail. It was created in 1974 and is number 24/100. It is signed "T. Ryohei" and dated in pencil on the bottom.
His works can be found at major auction houses and in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. It has not been examined out of the frame. The paper has been mounted to float in the frame. There is minor wear to the frame itself. The glass is not glare proof. There is minor buckling visible under the glass and the paper is slightly toned. There is wire on the reverse for hanging.
