This pair of handpainted vintage Italian majolica style plates have amazing detail with each depicting a seated capuchin monkey on top of a bed of high-relief leaves and berries. Stamped Italy on bottom.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition free of breaks/repairs. There is shelf wear on the bottom rims. There is a rough spot on one of the leaves (see last photo). There is a small gold paint mark on the back of one of the plates.
